We know that the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be both exceptionally powerful and blisteringly quick. However, the brand has yet to release any horsepower or torque figures for the supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine.

Thankfully, a user on Reddit has hunted down a page from the brochure of the 2018 Mustang and it could very well reveal these all important figures.

Most obvious is the number 7 displayed in the left gauge and a speed of 72 mph on show in the right gauge. Put the two together and you get 772, a potential horsepower figure in line with what some rumors have suggested. Additionally, the odometer reads 74.3 miles, perhaps as a hint to the 743 lb-ft of torque the muscle car will have.

If the figures do indeed depict the horsepower and torque levels of the GT500, it wouldn’t be the first time Ford has done such a thing. In the lead-up to the launch of the 2018 model year Mustang, a similar shot of a gauge cluster revealed a 455 hp figure.

Ford first confirmed the existence of a new Shelby GT500 at the recent Detroit Auto Shot. There, the carmaker released a brief teaser video of the car and confirmed it will have over 700 hp. A reveal in early 2019 is on the cards.
