During our daily online browsing, we came across an accident, involving a BMW M3 from the E92 generation.

And since almost nothing in life is easy, there are quite a few unanswered questions, like how did it get there, where did it happen, when and what happened to the occupant(s)?

The ‘when’ part could be answered by the YouTube video that follows, since it was uploaded last September. But take that with a huge grain of salt, as it may have been re-uploaded by the poster and for all we know, it could have happened years ago. As to the ‘where’, we could be looking at the US of A.

Is this the BMW M3 GTS?

Judging by the vents on the hood, this BMW M3 E92 might actually be the GTS version. If so, then we will remind you that it’s lighter than the standard M3, tipping the scale at 3,285lbs (1,490kg), and packs a 4.4-liter V8 engine that’s based on the 4.0-liter unit powering the regular model.

As for the official 0-62mph (0-100km/h) sprint time, this takes just 4.4 seconds, while top speed goes all the way up to 190mph (305km/h), and no electronic limiters are found here.

Back to the giant tangerine that went fishing, the 1-minute long video shows it being pulled up from the bottom of a pond, by a crane. The short film is disturbing, so if you’re a BMW fan, now it would be a good time to look away. For the rest of our petrol head community, scroll down and hit the play button.
