2019 Nissan Altima Enters Market With Special Edition One Version

Nissan is celebrating the introduction of the new generation Altima with the Edition One, a limited production run equipped with all sorts of features.

Offered in either Scarlet Ember, Pearl White or Super Black, the new Edition One builds upon the range-topping Altima Platinum VC-Turbo.

The new Nissan Altima Edition One has a rear spoiler, 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with a dark-gray look, illuminated kick plates, external ground lighting and special ‘Edition One’ badging.

The equipment list also includes leather seats, moonroof, a Bose premium sound system and special floor mats, alongside the ProPilot Assist, a ‘hands-on’ semi-autonomous driving function.

Nissan is also offering a premium service with 24/7 live assistant access that allows users to purchase tickets to various events or make dinner reservations. It’s called the Nissan Concierge and can be accessed via the smartphone, smartwatch or smart speaker apps, and comes with a free subscription for the first three years of Edition One ownership.

Reservations for the Edition One, as well as the rest of the 2019 Nissan Altima models, will go live on June 15. Nissan will reward customers with a choice of gift selections that include the choice of an Amazon Echo Show with Amazon Prime membership, Bose Soundlink Revolve+ with Amazon Echo Dot and Amazon Prime membership or Series 3 Apple Watch.

Full pricing details will likely be announced in the coming weeks, and those interested in the new Altima will get to see it at the company’s dealers nationwide starting this fall.

Approach with extreme caution. First year models are notorious for problems lately. And Nissan is one of the worst. The ’13 Altima has all sorts of major issues.

Its too bad Nissan had to jump into the ‘build the biggest grille you can and stick it on the front’ group

      Looks better than most. *cough*Toyota*cough*

  • SteersUright

Looks decent enough. Still dont see any reason not to spring for an Accord over all other mid-size sedans outside of maybe a few bucks on the lease deal. Its clearly the superior ride in this class.

    • DMax

Yes, Accord is the best in class as usual. But I personally would go for Mazda 6 for the better driving dynamics and that sexy styling.

I have started altima in 05, have a 15 now. Looks like somewhat of a rehash of what others are already doing, too bad they didn’t step out (only 3 colors, bose (ha) ,turbo pfft and copy cat grille surely not much wow factor)

  • cbATL

Another overly designed, big mouthed Japanese design. No thank you.

  • U8INIT

Why didn’t they add AWD to the Edition One…seems like an oversite

  • no25

That interior is too nice for that exterior

How “limited” will the production run actually be?
