Jaguar recently introduced the F-Pace SVR at the New York Auto Show but fans wanting something even more powerful can wait for Lister’s upcoming crossover.

Little is known about the model but the company recently took to Facebook to tease what it is calling “the world’s fastest SUV.” The company declined to elaborate but the teaser image confirms it is based on the F-Pace.

Given its high-performance aspirations, the model has been equipped with an aggressive front bumper and extended wheel arches. We can also see lightweight alloy wheels which are backed up by a high-performance braking system featuring gold calipers and drilled rotors. Other changes include auxiliary LED daytime running lights and a front fender vent with Lister lettering.

The company is keeping details under wraps but Autocar reports Lister’s owner previously confirmed they are working on a high-performance version of the F-Pace SVR. At the time, he suggested the model could have as much as 670 hp (500 kW / 679 PS).

Regardless of the final specifications, the F-Pace SVR was developed by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations and it features a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 542 hp (404 kW / 550 PS) and 501 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system. This setup enables the crossover to rocket from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h).

Besides the almighty engine, the F-Pace SVR has a retuned suspension with stiffer springs and a new anti-roll system that reduces body roll by five percent. Other notable features include a high-performance braking system, an active exhaust and an electronic active rear differential.

The F-Pace SVR will land is U.S. dealerships this summer and pricing starts at $79,990.
