Some drivers feel that they own the street – thus, it’s not unusual to honk at pedestrians, even if they are using a zebra crossing. Well, this pedestrian wasn’t having any of that, so she retaliated against the driver’s Mercedes C-Class.
It’s obvious that this didn’t need to go any further. The honking was unnecessary; as for hitting the window of the Merc with a soft bag… well, it’s not enough to cause any real damage. Hence, the physical confrontation shouldn’t have occurred.
Still, the only thing that might surprise us in this incident is that there were two females involved, as road rage taken to the extremes is nothing new.
The pedestrian apparently got the better of the Merc’s driver – but that’s when the passenger joined in, making this a 2-vs-1 that was eventually broken up by bystanders. It’s also sad that the people in the dashcam car preferred to laugh it up rather than go and break up the fight themselves. But yet again, these are the times we live in, where we’d rather record something that might go viral rather than try and actually be helpful.
In the end, this comes down to how tightly wound up some people are. They snap at just about anything, have zero patience, feel entitled way too often, and will even get physical with the slightest of provocations.
