It may require some time to learn how to get the best out of it, but the Challenger Demon definitely has what it takes to beat exotics into submission.

With a steady right foot, the driver of this Dodge Demon took on a Lamborghini Huracan in a 1/4-mile drag race and won.

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. In top form, the Demon has some 240 horses more than the stock Lamborghini Huracan, is a few tenths of a second quicker to 60 mph (96 km/h), and was basically born on the drag strip, with Dodge offering optional extras such as drag radials.

For his next adventure, the owner of this muscle car would like the opportunity to test his skills against a Lamborghini Aventador, which has 730 horsepower in the ‘S’ spec and sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds.

“A stock Huracan is no match for the Dodge Demon, but the Aventador is the one I really want to race”, he claimed.

While the Demon still has a power advantage over the Lambo, it’s much less compared to the Huracan – plus the Italian features all-wheel drive, which wasn’t enough for the Huracan, but might do the trick with its bigger brother and mitigate the 110 hp difference. We’ll just wait and see if any Aventador owner rises up to the challenge.
