Dodge Demon Humiliates Lamborghini Huracan In A Straight Line

It may require some time to learn how to get the best out of it, but the Challenger Demon definitely has what it takes to beat exotics into submission.

With a steady right foot, the driver of this Dodge Demon took on a Lamborghini Huracan in a 1/4-mile drag race and won.

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. In top form, the Demon has some 240 horses more than the stock Lamborghini Huracan, is a few tenths of a second quicker to 60 mph (96 km/h), and was basically born on the drag strip, with Dodge offering optional extras such as drag radials.

For his next adventure, the owner of this muscle car would like the opportunity to test his skills against a Lamborghini Aventador, which has 730 horsepower in the ‘S’ spec and sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds.

“A stock Huracan is no match for the Dodge Demon, but the Aventador is the one I really want to race”, he claimed.

While the Demon still has a power advantage over the Lambo, it’s much less compared to the Huracan – plus the Italian features all-wheel drive, which wasn’t enough for the Huracan, but might do the trick with its bigger brother and mitigate the 110 hp difference. We’ll just wait and see if any Aventador owner rises up to the challenge.

Dodge Demon Humiliates Lamborghini Huracan In A Straight Line…Then came the twists and the turns…

The twists and turns known as life… and reality. Where the Lambo guy pulls out his accountant’s statement of his net worth, photos of the models he’s been banging and a photo of his 10 car garage that also includes 7 other cars more expensive than a dodge and also happen to go faster.

BFD. You won a drag race. Now go enter a drag show.

See it this way. If i need something that goes fast on a straight i take a bullet train. At least it doesn’t stray.

    This is satisfying tbh

    Finally!

Wow! That Demon exploded off the line! It’s nice to see the Demon win on a video:) I think that a lot of the videos we see where the Demon loses is the driver not really knowing what they’re doing or still getting used to the car.

Whoop-tee-do. The Dodge still reminds me of my grandmother’s Dart while the Huracan is sexy as hell.

Why don’t you race a Tesla and quit yer whining Dodge Demo. ???

    • john1168

…and why don’t we race a base Mustang GT with a 6 speed manual against a Tesla P85D on a road course racetrack and see who wins there… The Tesla will go into limp mode about a third of the way around the track because the batteries will overheat. I think Matt Farrah did a video on this. My point is the Tesla is a different class of car compared to the Demon (electric vs. gas). Everyone know’s that electric motors have max torque at o mph and when you have two big motors paired up with AWD, it’s pretty much unbeatable in a quarter mile race. After that it’s a much different story.

I’ll bet the Lambo driver still got the girl though…

“While the Demon still has a power advantage over the Lambo, it’s much less compared to the Huracan ”

    This is ill-written..

I think you meant to say “While the Demon still has a power advantage over the Huracan, it’s much less compared to the Aventador”.
