Jay Leno’s Customized Lincoln Black Label Navigator Debuts At SEMA

Jay Leno is a classic and sports car lover, but he does like his comfy rides as well. Thus he has chosen to display his latest purchase, a special-order long-wheelbase Lincoln Black Label Navigator, at this year’s SEMA show.

The famous car enthusiast’s example is finished in a Chroma Crystal Blue paint finish over a Black Label Yacht Club theme inside. The customization options include a two-tone body color repaint, darker privacy glass with a smoky tint, darker chrome accents and different wheels. The interior features new seating color accents, special backlit sill plates and additional wrapping in supple Venetian leather of various touch points.

The customization options were designed by Lincoln’s Design Studio and executed by Galpin Motors & Auto Sports in California.

“Lincoln is always about quiet confidence,” said Earl Lucas, Lincoln Chief Designer. “It’s not about being ostentatious. At Lincoln, we always seduce, never attack. These changes just show possibilities – they simply serve to highlight what’s already there.”

“As an automotive enthusiast and historian, I’ve been a fan of Lincoln ever since Edsel Ford created the Continental,” Jay Leno added. “Edsel had a reputation for creating iconic and timeless designs.”

The full-size luxury SUV has a 131.6-in wheelbase (3,343mm) in LWB configuration and is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque that’s mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Jay Leno’s customized Lincoln Black LaberlNavigator will be on display at Jay’s Garage stand at SEMA.

Bet the Cadillac folks are pissed. Can’t wait to see the $150 version of the new Escalade in the near future.

I could do without the two tone, but everything else is really nice so it’s alright.

Yeah.. everything looks great except that black hood.. just doesn’t go with that color at all..

      I was thinking that too.

It’s not. It’s Ford shoving a pimped-out free product-placed truck up his ass. Jay’s always shown favor to GM products if you watch his vids. Can’t imagine he really wanted this at all.

This is why you don’t let a guy that wears mom-jeans design a truck.

Quiet confidence? It looks as loud as Vegas! Quiet confidence is an X5, an Q7, a GLS, not this. This Lincoln isnt half bad, but they really struggle to find their identity. I sat in this at the autoshow and while quite nice (though really ugly from the rear 3/4 angle), it also felt kinda cheapo and in many spots in the interior. At $50k, I’d say amazing job Lincoln. At the $90k it stickered for, helllllllllll no.

I didn’t say he didn’t have any Fords in his vast collection. I said he doesn’t favor Ford over GM or Chrysler. I googled: Jay Leno and Ford tard, but nothing saying Ford tard came up. Is that your lack of punctuational knowledge or are you calling me a tard?
