Mustang Driver Predictably Crashes While Attempting To Show Off

Are people ever going to stop actively coming up with ways in which to crash their Mustangs? At this rate, we wouldn’t be surprised if it somehow kept happening even after the adoption of Level 5 autonomous features.

Seriously though, we’ve come to expect something bad happening every time we see a Mustang spin its rear wheels or rev its engine. It’s almost inevitable. So yes, this latest incident ended just how we expected it to end, with an out-of-control car.

The “action” took place in Muscat, Oman’s capital city, and by the looks of it, the driver of the car was attempting to intentionally break traction while accelerating. When the car did finally lose balance, it of course caught the driver by surprise, as they were unable to keep it on the road.

Because of the poor quality of the video, we can’t see what exactly the Mustang ended up hitting. We do hear a thump as it hops on the sidewalk, but what happened afterwards remains unknown – it’s possible it hit a parked car or the side of that nearby building.

In the end, if you’re familiar with the trouble some Mustang owners tend to get into, you’ll probably realize that while embarrassing, this crash wasn’t even close to being the harshest we’ve ever seen.

For starters, nothing will ever beat those half a dozen Mustangs who crashed into each other following a Dubai meet. Then there’s the Mustang driver who nearly crashed into a crowd of people while trying to powerslide. The list just goes on and on.

It is to bad thatbmuscle cars cannot corner still but good for going in a straight line and sometime cannot even do that! LOL!

    • Mr. EP9

Some can corner it’s just that bad drivers with a habitual need to be the center of attention usually result in this.

The Mustang meme is an old, tired meme. Any high performance rear wheel drive car will crash if you put an idiot behind the wheel. I’ve been daily driving a 2007 Shelby GT500 since 2010 and I have never had an accident in my entire life.

“Mustang Driver Predictably Crashes”. I don’t know who is a bigger douche, the driver of this car or the writer of this article.

Seems the new thing to pick on Mustang drivers. Like BMW driver and indicators and so forth. Subaru and Honda owners and vaping. All those jokes are played out.

how did you like the NSX?

    • It was fine. A bit sedate. Did not overly thrill me. I’d take one, of course.

So, he starts trying to burn tyres….keeps giving gas, the tail starts to move and he starts to overcorrect, triggering that tail dance he can’t control as it amplifies and he keeps overcorrecting….finally, he decides to cut the gas while the tail is spinning on one side….the coup de grace to trigger the full spin + braking.

Old Mustangs need better suspensions, widening and some tuning too. But too many can’t really drive them. Once that pendulum starts you can only hit the handbrake and make a full spin and try to stay away from objects. Hopefully it will go well. The sole other way is to keep with the gas and dose the steering till the swerving ends….it may take 10 or 12 shots before it does. Arab highway style…More in general, they should keep doing what they can do best. The lookers.
