Bugatti will allegedly debut a new limited-edition model during Monterey Car Week in California this coming August.

A report from The Supercar Blog claims that like the Bugatti Divo, this new model will be produced in a low run and could cost in excess of $5 million just like the Divo. This year marks the 110th anniversary of the French car manufacturer and it seems apparent that the new model will join the Chiron 110 ans Bugatti and one-off La Voiture Noire to help celebrate this milestone.

Few other details about the new Bugatti in question are known but it will likely be based around the Chiron.

Back in September last year, one month after the Divo premiered, a report surfaced indicating that Bugatti was developing a new model with an even greater focus on weight saving and aerodynamics than the Divo. Additionally, it was claimed that an even more track-focused model was on the cards alongside a Chiron Roadster. It is possible that the limited-edition Bugatti heading to Pebble Beach is one of these vehicles.

If that’s the case, then the car will inevitably be powered by the French car manufacturer’s 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine with a minimum of 1500 hp. Acceleration figures will be blistering and you can rest assured that Bugatti will have no difficulty selling out the production run.

Carscoops has reached out to the French car manufacturer to see if we can get any more details about this reported hypercar and will update this article when we hear back.

Update: Bugatti head of communications Tim Bravo has confirmed that it will have a premiere at the Monterey Car Week but says it “won’t comment on the nature of this premiere.”
