Social Media Goes Alight In Turkey After Dessert Makers Road Rage Against Allegedly Pregnant Woman

Road rage (unfortunately) affects drivers all around the world and footage has gone viral across social media in Turkey showing a pair of men intentionally damaging another car on a highway.

Ahval News reports that the incident occurred on the D-100 highway in Istanbul and footage posted on Twitter appears to show the two men brake checking another car.

Just seconds later, the two men exit the dark green Citroen and approach the other vehicle. One of the men repeatedly tries to open the door of the other car but it is locked. The man and woman inside the car can be heard shouting and apparently, the woman was repeatedly saying that she was pregnant.

Despite that, one of the men lets his anger get the better of him and attempts to rip off the driver’s side wing mirror by pulling on it and hitting it. As he makes his way back to the Citroen, he climbs over the hood of the other car and jumps on it, leaving a huge dent. Footage then offers a glimpse of the damage and confirms that the car was a white Skoda.

A Turkish newspaper quickly identified the perpetrators as Hasan and Hüseyin Sel who reportedly own dessert brand Seydi Oğlu Baklava.

Armed with the identity of the men, local authorities have reportedly called in Hasan Sel in for a statement. It remains to be seen if he or Hüseyin Sel will be charged for their horrible actions.

There are more journalists in Turkish prisons than any other nation. Not a nice place.

Free speech is a dying concept unfortunately.

      • Thunderbolt

it depends on which side you’re on. It looks to me the lefts have more rights to dictate their speeches.

        • Romain AA

justice is not about taking sides. that’s the whole idea actually.

        • Ben

That’s my point. Speaking the truth becomes “hurtful” then it becomes “offensive”. Next its deemed not “politically correct” and lastly deemed as “hate speech”. That is how you outlaw certain talk you don’t want to hear.

  • it happened a few days ago and they are not arrested.

    • Mertcan Kayacan

What is your real problem? They arrested one day later and now they are
      in jail.

      • I don’t have a real problem, why would I? It’s great that they’re arrested but by the way they entered the police station I just couldn’t expect that. Thank god.

  • Bo Hanan

I may be cynical but I’ve lived long enough to view these types of videos with skepticism.
My initial thought is did the guy and his pregnant wife start the sh#t, and then try to claim
    “vagina rights?”

    • Vassilis

Even if they did, so what? What’s your point exactly?

      • Aeromann

There is no reason to do what they did.

    • wait a minute

It’s a good point, there’s always a provocation that causes folk to loose it, but still it seems excessive reaction of 2 grown men.

  • Aeromann

They should accelerate and take his door!

  • Nastinupe1911

It’s so ironic that women want the right to terminate their fetus but if anyone else does it it’s considered murder. Like if I come up and shoot a pregnant woman in the stomach and kill both her and the unborn child I can be charged for two homicides but abortion is considered legal because the fetus isn’t considered alive. That’s a contradiction in the interpretation of the law. I’m not for or against abortion, but it’s just an obvious hole in the laws.

    • Porkopolis

Are you suggesting we address issues and laws with logic instead of emotion? Interesting concept – not one many have heard of these days, but I like it!

  • Bo Hanan

    We’ll never know.
