There are several wild Toyota Supras coming to the SEMA Show this year but TRD’s GR Supra 3000GT Concept could quite possibly be the wildest iteration of the A90 generation to date.

Toyota Racing Development (TRD) has begun teasing the custom concept before its world debut at the SEMA Show on November 5. Very little is known about the souped-up Supra as TRD is keeping the cards close to the chest at the moment.

However, the teaser photos and videos definitely leave us hungry for more as the reveal the mother of all fixed wings floating above the Supra 3000GT Concept’s carbon fiber spoiler lip, as well as an engine hood featuring four sizable vents.

If you have a feeling of deja-vu, it’s because the custom concept traces its lineage back to the Supra A80-based TRD 3000GT wide-body concept unveiled at the 1994 Tokyo Auto Salon. Besides the huge rear wing and vented hood, we should expect significantly wider wheel arches, more aggressive bumpers, custom alloy wheels, and hopefully engine, suspension and exhaust upgrades as well.

An engine builder recently suggested that the stock block of the 3.0-liter B58 inline-six used by the Supra can probably get up to 1,000 HP without the need for extensive mods to the engine block, so we can’t wait to see if TRD did something to the engine as well.

In addition to the GR Supra 3000GT Concept, TRD will also bring to Las Vegas the GR Supra Performance Line Concept that debuted earlier this year at the Osaka Auto Messe. The model features aero parts available in Japan which will hopefully become available in North America too.
