Review: 2018 Jeep Wrangler Is Still An Off-Road Animal, Only Easier To Live With

Based on the Wrangler Sport S,  the new Wrangler Freedon Edition features special accents on the outside, including the American flag, ‘Oscar Mike’ badge (military slang – On the Move), military star decal on the hood, black Sunrider soft top, privacy rear glass, side steps and 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels painted in Satin Carbon and shod in all-terrain tires.

Changes inside the cabin include the McKinley black cloth seats with black leather bolsters and Light Tungsten accent stitching, as well as ‘Oscar Mike’ embossing throughout.

“We are thrilled to bring the Wrangler Freedom model back to the Jeep lineup as a tribute to active and retired members of the U.S. military”, said Jeep North America chief Jim Morrison. “The Jeep brand has a long military history and the new Wrangler Freedom model is a small, but important way we can honor those who have and continue to serve their country.”

Jeep says that with every Wrangler Freedom Edition sold, they will also donate $250 to the United Service Organizations.

Funny that I cannot use words for common american weapons here. Enjoy your Jeep Wrangler FREEDOM edition 😀 Preferrably with a hamburger and a bible signed by your president…

$250???? With those huge margins? I guess the pub is good.

That’s my type of a wrangler if I will ever be in the market for a wrangler.

Different people have different taste, and I like this one more than any other trim so far.

$250 is peanuts. Wranglers are SO overpriced (this is a stripper for $34K) that I’m sure FCA could’ve handled $1,000 witth the greatest of ease.
