Some drivers seem to have little regard for motorcyclists and that can lead to tragic results.

Thankfully that’s not the case this time around, but the actions of a Ford F-150 driver will likely make your blood boil.

As you can see in this helmet cam footage, a group of friends were out for a ride on the highway. This seems relatively uneventful, other than speeds of up to 88 mph (142 km/h), but things quickly take a turn for the worse.

At the six second mark, you can see an F-150 pull up behind two bikers and then straddle the lane in an attempt to pass them. As the truck begins passing the first bike, it returns to the center of the lane and this causes the rear of the F-150 to hit the motorcyclist.

He struggles to stay on the bike, but eventually falls and this sends the motorcycle into a concrete barrier. The motorcyclist filming the trip quickly pulls over and rushes to check on his friend. Thankfully, he’s okay and a couple of good samaritans stopped to help.

The original uploader stated the “biker is doing great,” and only suffered some scratches and burns. That’s pretty remarkable, but their good fortune can probably be chalked up to a little bit of luck and a decision to wear safety equipment.

As for the F-150, it didn’t stop and two bikers chased after it. One of them called police and the driver was reportedly arrested about five miles away from the scene of the crash.
