2020 Toyota Supra Gets Into Apparent Hit And Run With Civic While Trying To Flee Car Meet

The Toyota Supra has only been on sale for a few months, but it’s quickly earning  some bad reputation for getting in crashes.

While it won’t challenge the Mustang anytime soon, a new video has surfaced showing a Supra involved in an apparent hit and run.

Posted on YouTube, the clip shows a number of cars involved in illegal antics both on the street and in parking lots. Police do their best to break up these events, but the cars simply travel elsewhere and start all over again.

Driven: 2020 Toyota GR Supra Is A Track Weapon And An Everyday Sports Car

The Supra isn’t seen doing any stunts, but its driver apparently tried to flee the scene after police arrived. This goes terribly wrong as the YouTuber says the Supra slammed into a Civic while going approximately 20-30 mph (32-48 km/h).

The video doesn’t capture the moment of impact, but it shows the Civic’s front fender and driver side door were smashed. The Supra undoubtedly suffered some damage as well, but its driver decided to flee the scene.

After it becomes clear the Supra isn’t sticking around, the driver of the Civic takes off after them. It remains unclear if the Civic managed to catch up to the Supra, but the YouTuber who recorded the incident says they ran a red light in their pursuit.

While two wrongs don’t make a right, hopefully the owner of the Civic managed to at least the Supra’s license plate. If not, this video might be clear enough to get a partial plate number.
