A Pearl Yellow 2012 Lexus LFA with delivery mileage looks set to sell for quite an extraordinary sum as it goes under the hammer.

The Bring A Trailer listing reveals that this LFA has spent most of its life on display at Arlington Lexus in Illinois and as such, it only has 72 miles (115 km) on the clock. It is being sold with a window sticker, a blank Vehicle Delivery Certificate, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title. Bidding had already reached $600,000 with 11 days left in the auction.

Adorning the exterior of this LFA is a color known as Pearl Yellow that really makes the Japanese supercar stand out from most others you’ll see on the roads. In fact, it is one of just five produced for the U.S. market in this color and sits on forged 20-inch BBS wheels that Bridgestone Potenza tires measuring 265/35 at the front and 305/30 at the rear. Braking is provided by carbon-ceramic discs with six-piston Brembo calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear that match the paint with a yellow finish.

Found inside this LFA is a lovely combination of black and cream leather as well as a plethora of aluminum and carbon fiber accents. Key features include a 12-speaker Mark Levinson audio system with a CD player, satellite radio capability, and navigation. Interestingly, the listing adds that the car was delivered with 27 miles as it was selected by the factory for quality confirmation evaluation after rolling off the production line.
