After bringing their in-house-designed Venom F5 to The Quail at Pebble Beach last weekend, Hennessey has announced that the 311 mph hypercar has now officially sold out.

The final production version of the $2.1 million Venom F5 was unveiled in December of 2020, with 12 of the 24 planned units already having been spoken for. Now, after displaying two customer cars at The Quail this past weekend, orders for all the remaining units have been confirmed, which means that all examples of the Venom F5 are now accounted for.

The Venom F5 is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 making a staggering 1,817 hp (1,842 PS / 1,355 kW) and 1,193 lb-ft (1,617 Nm) of torque, which not only earns it the title of the most powerful internal combustion-powered road car to date, but also allows the car to reach a theoretical top speed of 311+ mph (500+ km/h).

“Showing two of the latest F5 models at The Quail and Pebble Beach alongside the likes of Bugatti, Lamborghini and Koenigsegg was an honor for the whole Hennessey team,” said John Hennessey, founder and CEO of Hennessey Performance. “The fact that we secured orders from customers who saw the cars at the events is testament to the quality our team has achieved… and we’re yet to reach the vehicle’s full potential!”

“Selling out is just the beginning of the F5 journey for us, our customers and our fans. Production has already begun, with customer deliveries starting this year and continuing through 2023. That’s not all, as we’ve saved a few more surprises for the F5, including the Track Pack enhancements, plus something else that’s literally out of this world!”
