Google Maps Wants To Save Earth From 1 Million Tons Of CO2 Emissions Annually With Eco-Friendly Routes

Google Maps will now show you the most fuel-efficient route to your destination — even if it’s not the fastest. The tech giant thinks that the feature could save more than a million tons of carbon emissions per year. Users can choose between taking the most efficient or the fastest route depending on their priorities.


2022 Audi R8 V10 Performance RWD Is The New Standard, Bringing 562 HP And Sharper Handling

Audi’s second-gen R8 is nearing the end of its life, which means it’s perfect timing for a new, more powerful model. The latest RWD entry point to the R8 features a 30hp boost over the old car from the naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 FSI, bringing power to 562 hp (419 kW / 570 PS). The Audi R8 V10 Performance RWD Coupé starts from €149,000 ($172,192) in Germany, while the Spyder starts at €162,000 ($187,215).


Refreshed MG ZS EV Debuts With A Grille-Less Look, New Infotainment And A Bigger Battery

The popular MG ZS EV has undergone a makeover, with a new grille-less front-end, LED headlights and taillights, and revised bumpers. The big change is that the 2021 MG ZS EV features the option of a larger 72 kWh battery pack offering a 273-mile (439 km) WLTP range. The longer-range model will be offered alongside a  cheaper variant with a smaller 51 kWh battery pack that has a range of 198 miles (319 km). Both options are better than the 44.5kWh battery housed in the old car.


Geneva Motor Show Canceled For Third Year Running

Now for the third year running, the Geneva Motorshow has once again been canceled. The organizers are calling it a postponement, keen to see it back for 2023. Next year’s event was ruled unfeasible due to the ongoing global travel limitations resulting from the pandemic. There was another reason, too: the chip crisis that has put pressure on OEM’s financials.

However, the outline that can be seen seems to lend credence to internet chatter, suggesting it’s inspired by the 1960s 330 P4 racer. Lexus Teases New LX600 As The Luxurious Sibling Of The Toyota Land Cruiser

Lexus has set a reveal date for the all-new LX600. Based on the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series, the new full-size SUV will make its appearance on October 13th. Along with the announcement, we were treated to a brief, dust-filled preview video, complete with a pretty good look at the rear end. The picture shows us Lexus lettering, L-shaped taillights connected with an LED strip, and the LX600 badge.


Airplane Transport Goes Awry And Viral After Getting Stuck Under Bridge In India

An airplane became lodged under a bridge in India, although, thankfully, it wasn’t airborne at the time. One Mile at a Time reports that this A320, formerly owned by Air India, was loaded onto a truck and driven away from Indira Gandhi international airport near the city of New Delhi. The plane was destined for the scrap heap anyway, but we can’t imagine the damage to the bridge would have been looked upon lightly.

Twitch Has Blamed A Server Error  On Massive Data Leak

A large amount of Twitch user data was leaked onto the net, which the company says was due to a “server configuration change” that “exposed” some data, reports the BBC. The site has advised its users to change their passwords and activate two-factor authorization.


Lewis Hamilton Hit With 10 Place Grid Penalty For Turkish GP
