Bugatti and UYN today announced that they will again collaborate on a second collection of clothing items. This time, it will feature 10 garments that combine high-tech materials with timeless design.

UYN (Unleash Your Nature) is an Italian clothing manufacturer whose items have been worn by Olympic athletes and which prides itself on its material innovation. For its latest partnership with Bugatti, it has attempted to incorporate the automaker’s signature design aesthetic into garments in the UYN for Bugatti collection.

For instance, the shoes in the collection have a “Horseshoe” sole. It features a shock-absorbing midsole and high-grip rubber tread all in a familiar U-shape and it is inspired by Bugatti‘s grille. UYN claims that it actually gives its new shoe superior traction on all terrain.

The shoes are made of a bio-fiber called Natex, which is derived from castor oil seeds. That makes it 25 percent lighter than petroleum-based materials and means it dries 50 percent faster, too. It is also naturally odor-fighting, which is a nice bonus.

The other garments are made of equally advanced materials. The cotton t-shirt and polo shirts are made using a 3D knit Haloflex technique for better elasticity and breathability, while the rain jacket uses a sophisticated material made of waterproof (10,000 mm water column) and windproof fabric.

Also included in the collection is a mid-layer with a full-length zip and a fleece lining for the colder months. The Padded Vest, meanwhile, features an elegantly quilted material and the Padded Jacket adds sleeves and shoulders made with 3D knit fabric and Haloflex technology, like the t-shirt.

Its design, with its rounded shoulders that make the sleeve extend onto the back, is intended to look like the distinctive C-line that defines Bugatti’s vehicles. The colors of the collection — blue, white, red, and black — are also a reference to the brand’s aesthetic.

“Every product that bears the famous Bugatti macaron is reflecting facets of our beautiful marque,” said Wiebke Ståhl, managing director of Bugatti International. “The new ‘UYN for BUGATTI’ collection combines high-performance garments and cutting-edge design to meet the luxurious feel of comfort our customers expect. In the same way that our hyper sports cars seamlessly integrate technology, the products of our new collaboration with UYN achieve the same.”
