Several videos have emerged online of a three-car accident near Atlanta on May 31, reportedly during the Gumball 3000 rally. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the crash.

The accident saw a blue McLaren 570S crash into the rear of a Lamborghini Aventador SV that was attempting to go from the leftmost lane into the middle lane on a street in Atlantic Station, Georgia, just outside Atlanta.

Unfortunately for the McLaren’s driver, who was seemingly trying to accelerate into the middle lane to get alongside the Lamborghini, that’s not where things ended. The force of the initial accident was such that it launched the 570S off the ground and into a BMW i8 that was in the rightmost lane.

Despite the force of the collision, police reports acquired by Road & Track indicate that no injuries were reported as a result of the accident. The driver of the Aventador, though, was cited for making an improper lane change and the driver of the 570S was given a ticket for driving too fast for the conditions.

Another video shows the events that led up to the crash, with the three vehicles driving down the street in formation. A seemingly unrelated Kia Soul driving in the middle lane impeded the path of the McLaren, which had to slow down and change into the left lane in order to get around it.

Adding insult to injury, further videos of the event show the Aventador driving itself onto a flatbed truck and scraping its nose along the way. As one onlooker pointed out in the video, though, that was likely the least of the owner’s worries.
