Mercedes-AMG Celebrates 55th Birthday By Building 5 Non-Homologated GT3 Racecars

Five hand-built examples of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Edition 55 are being built in celebration of AMG’s 55th anniversary. While there’s the obligatory livery, badges, and plaques, the headline factor of this limited-to-five special is that the Edition 55 hasn’t undergone homologation. Although that precludes it from being entered into any FIA events, it also means that the 6.3-liter V8 doesn’t have to abide by the FIA’s rules and, as such, produces 650 hp (685 kW/659 PS) — 100 hp (75 kW/101 PS) more than the standard GT3 racecar.

2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD Scooped Both Inside And Out

Our spy photographers have managed to snap the upcoming 2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD’s exterior and interior, albeit camouflaged. The exterior reveals Silverado HD design traits despite looking like it could be a GMC Sierra.
