Regardless of how you feel about the recent antics of Elon Musk, it’s impossible to deny that Tesla has done some very impressive things and of all the vehicles it produces, few have made quite as many headlines as the Model S Plaid.

When launched, the Model S Plaid could accelerate to 60 mph (96 km/h) quicker than any other production car. While its record has since been beaten by the Rimac Nevera, the Croatian hypercar is a multi-million dollar creation built by hand.

The Model S Plaid is hard to fault (if you forget about the yoke steering wheel) but one complaint we have heard about it is the unfortunate lack of eye-catching design details to differentiate it from lesser variants. This particular Model S Plaid, however, is more attention-grabbing than most thanks to the aftermarket wheels it has been fitted with.

What Do You Think Of This Tesla Model S Plaid On Big Dish Wheels?

The EV is currently up for sale through Wires Only and is rolling on a set of Forgiato wheels with a chrome finish. These wheels are intriguing as they have solid faces and lack the spokes you’d ordinarily expect to find. The looks certainly won’t appeal to everyone but as a means of making a statement, this Model S Plaid does exactly that.

Wires Only notes that the car has been equipped with the Full-Self Driving package and only has 9,597 miles (15,444 km) under its belt. While the listing doesn’t mention why the original owner parted ways with it, it seems to be in good condition and has an asking price of $127,750.

It is worth noting that a new Model S Plaid can be purchased from $135,990 directly through Tesla but the Full-Self Driving package adds $15,000 to the sticker price.
