Lamborghini is promising an electrifying future and they’re providing another glimpse of their first electric vehicle, ahead of its debut on August 18.

The latest teaser is more revealing and suggests the “prototype” will be a crossover like the Urus. That remains to be seen, but it wouldn’t be surprising as the Urus outsold the Aventador and Huracan combined last year.

Besides suggesting the model is a crossover, the video shows the EV will have split lighting units with slender LED headlights residing on top. We can also see large tires and what appear to be angular accents.

While a number of questions remain, the automaker partially revealed the profile earlier this week. It showed an Estoque-like design with a rakish windscreen that flows into a long sloping roof. The model also has an expansive greenhouse, an adventurous beltline, and slender A-pillars.

Lamborghini has been keeping details under wraps, but previously said we can expect “something new and truly thrilling.” The company has also confirmed the prototype will preview their long-awaited fourth model, which will enter production before the end of the decade. When it arrives, it will be positioned “at the top of its segment” and have “remarkable performance.”
