Toyota has a new signature color for its TRD Pro trucks, rolling out a finish called HoneyComb across the Tundra, Sequoia, and Tacoma for the 2027 model year. The 4Runner TRD Pro gets its own twist on the theme, a shade named Hot Honey.
According to Toyota, the new color gives the TRD Pro models a “bold, high-impact appearance that underscores their adventurous character.” All we know is that bears and bees will probably love it.

Beyond the new color, the full-size truck and SUV are getting a few off-road upgrades for 2027. The Tundra TRD Pro and Sequoia TRD Pro get FOX enhanced QS3 shocks, tuned individually for each model. The adjustable dampers are meant to sharpen feedback and stability over rough terrain. Toyota also made red recovery hooks standard.
Nothing changes under the hood, with the Tundra and Sequoia TRD Pro carrying over the i-Force MAX hybrid setup. That pairs a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6 with a single electric motor for a combined 437 hp (326 kW / 443 PS) and 583 lb-ft (790 Nm) of torque.
Pricing for the 2027 MY Toyota TRD Pro lineup will be announced closer to the start of production, which is scheduled for the fall of 2026.

The TRD Pro updates follow the recent reveal of the refreshed 2027 Sequoia and 2027 Tundra. Both added a new Trailhunter trim along with standard 14-inch touchscreens and Toyota Safety Sense 4.0. The full-size models are built in San Antonio, Texas. Toyota is also preparing to move Tacoma production from Mexico to Texas starting in 2030.
