A red Ferrari FF in Poland has joined the ranks of self-immolating supercars from Maranello. To be more precise, this is actually the third documented case of an FF going up in flames since Ferrari’s first all-wheel drive model touched down on the Italian firm’s dealerships about a year ago.

The two previous fires happened in Germany in November of 2011 and in China this past February.

This latest incident involving a Ferrari FF took place on Poland’s A4 highway on Sunday. Despite the efforts of firefighters, the exotic Italian sports car, which is priced at a lofty 1.5 million zloty in Poland (about US$435,000 or €345,000), was destroyed completely.

While police officers and firefighters on the scene would not comment on the possible cause of the fire, the unnamed owner of the car told an eyewitness that the fire started from the front end of the car and burst into the area where the pedals are.

The eyewitness also filmed a video of firefighters trying to put out the fire on the FF, which you watch after the break.
