Being the first 7-Series in over a decade not to have a hideously disfigured visage, we have high hopes that there will be other factors of desirability featured on the model other than its size, quality and BMW badge.

Recently, it was spotted in heavily camouflaged prototype guise, looking nice and tidy around the Nurburgring north loop. We can’t yet make out what it’s going to look like, but even if they style it after a rotting whale carcass, it will still look better than the Bangle-era car which has not, by the way, aged well at all.

The car in the video below, courtesy of TouriClips is a different one to the one we had previously posted. It’s running on different plates and its engine is considerably louder than before – the old one was probably a 6-cylinder diesel, whereas this new one is probably a V8.
