Renault has reinvented its new generation Espace minivan into a semi-crossover model and this is the first picture we have of its cabin.

Much like the exterior of the car that was officially previewed today ahead of a world premiere at the Paris auto show next week, the dashboard is a less dramatic and futuristic interpretation of last year’s Renault Initiale Paris Concept.

The design is very similar from the steering wheel to the lines of the dashboard and the LED accent lighting, but kept within the confines of reality and practicality. One of the first things that draws your attention is the large, tablet-like screen for the infotainment system in the center console.

Renault’s new Espace will go on sale in Europe (but not in the UK, sorry folks) in both five- and seven seat versions towards the end of the year.
