Completing the trio of conceptual models based on the next-gen Impreza after the regular hatch in Tokyo and the sedan in LA last year, Subaru will unwrap the XV crossover study at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.

Subaru doesn’t use the Impreza moniker on the XV, but it’s essentially a reworked version of their five-door compact hatchback that looks a lot cooler thanks to an increased ride height, chunky wheels, modified bumpers and body cladding that give it a crossover feel.

The Japanese brand refrained from providing any details about the XV Concept, but the single teaser image points to the same styling recipe as before, as we can see the front quarter of the Impreza hatch adorned with a different grille, an aluminum skid plate and big wheels.

A production version will follow within the next 2 years.
