After teasing us with a camouflaged car back in January, Porsche’s most track-oriented 911 is now available to order as a “do it yourself” 1:8 scale model.

While US buyers will have to spend $299.99 in order to experience putting together this LEGO Technic replica, if you live in Germany, the car will cost you 299.99 euros, whereas Canadians will have to put together CA $349.99.

What you get in return is a complete experience of putting together a GT3 RS as methodically as possible. As you can see in the unboxing video, on top of all the required pieces you’ll also get a special collector’s book which holds the history of LEGO Technic and Porsche GT cars.

Some of the most important features include the orange body, red suspension springs, detailed headlights and taillights, brake calipers and wheels, but also the working gearbox and gearshift paddles which are actually functional – as are the pistons within the flat-six engine.

Overall, the set comes with over 2,700 pieces (2,704 to be exact) and is meant for people over the age of 16. Once completed, the LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS will measure 57 cm (22 in) in length, 25 cm (9 in) in width and 17 cm (6 in) in height.

Thanks to everyone who sent in a tip!
