Now that fully autonomous and highly connected technologies are close to becoming the new norm, how far should automakers take voice control features?

You’d think they could go wild with this one in the lab, wouldn’t you? If Siri, Google Now and Cortana can be so clever in understanding what you want, then so should your car’s operating system.

But in a tribute to Murphy’s Law, this funny Dutch insurance commercial shows us just how bad things can get if your car is trained to recognize your voice and follow your every command.

The fun stuff begins almost as soon as the owner of this Bentley Continental GTC starts showing off his “whip” to his friends and telling them how awesome it is that you can get it to do things via voice command (and without pushing any buttons). But that’s as far as we’ll go in telling you what goes on.

The location used for filming this sketch was Echo Park in Los Angeles and the people behind it were Centraal Beheer, a Dutch insurance company from Apeldoorn.
