With the new BMW 7 Series, BMW is already setting benchmarks in the luxury segment, and with the help of its Individual division, the Bavarian car manufacturer raises the bar even higher.

BMW Individual is demonstrating its expertise by developing two special edition models based on the 750Li xDrive – the “Solitaire” (limited only to six models), as well as the one-off “Master Class”.

On the exterior, the two 7s come in two exclusive colors, BMW Individual Metallic Black Gold and BMW Individual Metallic Solitaire White. The German company says that these hues can only be applied by incorporating an extremely complex method, using fine glass flakes embedded in the final layer of the paint.

You’ll find the same individuality and craftsmanship throughout the cabin, as the vehicles feature BMW Individual fine-grain full leather trim Merino as well as an Alcantara roof liner. While the list of bespoke fitments (which includes storage compartments for cosmetic tissues finished in color-matching leather) is comprehensive, the highlight of these special editions are undoubtedly the five optional diamond inserts in the interior trims on the dashboard and doors.

Powering the cars is a V8 petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, which develops 450PS (442 HP) and 650 Nm of torque – enough for making the luxury automobiles accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds, in their journey to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
