With Porsche making the Cayenne Turbo S available to enthusiasts during this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, they thought the best way to show off how sporty it is, would be a race against the 911 Turbo S.

Short of the mighty 918 Spyder hypercar, the 911 Turbo S represents the fastest model in the German automaker’s current lineup, so with that in mind, how much of a shot would you say the Cayenne has of an upset here?

This video is more of a promotional stunt than anything else, which is why you’ll see the driver in the Cayenne play a little dirty in order keep up with the 911 supercar.

While the description of the clip states that we should “prepare to be amazed at just how much of a sports car the Cayenne Turbo S really is,” the footage is a bit inconsistent at times and we find ourselves having to take the driver’s word for it.

In terms of specs, the two models line up the following way: 581 PS (573 HP) & 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) for the 911 and 570 PS (562 HP) & 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) for the Cayenne. While the latter has nearly as much power and a little more torque compared to the 911 Turbo S, it also weighs roughly 635 kg (1,400 lbs) more, which will always put you at a disadvantage.
