There’s no better marketing, perhaps, than having the man behind a famed car company, such as Koenigsegg, take part in an owner’s meeting with one of the hottest vehicles of the moment: the Regera.

Created as an answer to the hypercar trinity, rhw Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1, the Regera has similar performance to the recently unveiled Bugatti Chiron.

Things seemed to have been going smooth for Christian von Koenigsegg and after the aforementioned model was presented in Geneva, the company shifted focus towards setting a new Nurburgring lap record for production cars, with the One:1. However, bad timing and what seemed to be a minor defect made the impressive machine crash and the tragic incident eclipsed the whole Koenigsegg owner’s meeting held in Southern Sweden, just a day before.

Captured on footage, the Regera’s display of power in von Koenigsegg’s hands revealed the hybrid firing up its powertrain and driving off in silence, while the final part gives enthusiasts a taste of the engine waking up with an aggressive baritone sound.
