Even though Ford hasn’t officially presented a production-spec 2017 GT to the world, people continue to lose their minds over the new American supercar thanks to its dashing looks and expected performance capabilities.

After watching this video, chances are you’ll become one of those people addicted to the car.

Recently filmed revving its 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 on the Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance was a particularly special GT Heritage Edition, painted black and looking right at home surrounded by multi-million dollar European exotics.

For anyone who had concerns about how the new GT would sound without a V8, this clip will put you at ease knowing that Ford Performance has ensured the six-cylinder sounds just as good as an eight-banger despite two fewer cylinders and its use of forced induction.

Deliveries of the car can’t come soon enough.
