It may sound like a new comedy movie, one that has dogs speaking English, but this bizarre incident actually happened in the real world, at the Wayne Walmart, in West Virginia.

What started like a normal day for an elderly woman, who decided to do some grocery shopping while leaving her two pets inside her car with the engine turned on so they could stay cool, quickly turned into a media buzz on TV.

According to WSAZ, the animals managed to knock it out of gear, which sent the vehicle, a Mercury Grand Marquis, out of the parking space and towards a witness who was standing in front of the store and thought that a friend was having fun at her expense.

However, it wasn’t a human behind the wheel, as she discovered when the car moved closer, as she could see a dog on the driver’s seat and another one riding shotgun!

After crashing into the local Walmart, the Mercury’s owner was paged and she had some explaining to do to the deputy who responded to the scene, but since damages were minimal on both sides, no official report was filled and the woman drove home with her dogs.
