Audi may be prepping the second generation Q3 for its market launch, but it seems that the current model is still far away from taking its last breath.

The popular compact crossover, which is no longer the smallest one in the range after the introduction of the Q2 earlier this year is entering the MY2017 with a bunch of visual updates, including a more aggressive front end in the Sport trim.

The facelift brings larger outer air inlets, Stone Gray-finished grille, and a blade beneath the center inlet carries the same color as the rest of the body. The color palette sees the introduction of Camouflage Green, which replaces the Tundra Brown.

For an even sportier look, the S Line exterior package comes with diamond-pattern inserts that fill the air inlets, high-gloss look for the radiator grille and air inlets, and a new front skirt, joined by the matt silver finished underbody protection.

Also new for the 2017 MY is the Audi Q3 S Line Competition Special Edition, which has been inspired by the S Line package and brings a black accents on the wheel arches, side mirror casings, roof rails, and door trim strips, along with glossy black finished lower section of the rear bumper and roof-mounted spoiler. The look is completed by the new 19-inch glossy-black wheels and the S Line badges on the front fenders.

Equipped with sport suspension, Audi Drive Select dynamic handling system and driver info system, the Audi Q3 S Line Competition costs €33,050 ($37,117), while the regular model starts from €30,100 ($33,804). Prices are available in Germany and other European markets, where the facelifted Q3 will go on sale this fall.
