Since driving a supercar usually goes hand in hand with wearing a very expensive watch, Hublot has teamed up with Ferrari to create yet another amazing timepiece.

Dubbed MP-05 LaFerrari Sapphire, it costs roughly $250,000, but this story would have been put to rest if the famous watchmaker hadn’t used one of the best track-only machines out there, the the Ferrari FXX K, to promote it.

Set in what seems to be a post-apocalyptic world, the footage shows the hybrid hypercar unleash its 1,050 PS (1,036 HP) and more than 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque on a surface that has probably never met the tires of an FXX K: dirt.

Combined with CGI and sprinkled with bits from the making of the MP-05, the video is probably one of the best tributes paid to the track beast so far, and if you are curious in taking a peak behind the scenes, then you’ll be glad to find out that the kind people over at Hublot have also released another clip that shows the small army, who is behind the final footage, at work.
