Bentley owners in California will soon have to stop worrying about making trips to the fuel station with the roll-out of the automaker’s concierge fuel service.

The firm is collaborating with Filld, a mobile app-based fuel delivery service and in the initial trial, will allow Californian Bentley owners to have fuel delivered directly to their home. All they’ll have to do is use the ‘Filld for Bentley‘ smartphone application and choose a time for the fuel to be delivered.

Thanks to the Connected Car integration between Bentley vehicles and the app, owners won’t even need to unlock the vehicle’s fuel cap as it will be done remotely. In the future, the two companies envisage a car being able to place an order for fuel by itself based on fuel level, location and customer preferences.

Discussing the offering, Bentley’s director of product and marketing Christophe Georges said: “Bentley ownership is about more than just the vehicle – it’s the entire luxury experience. We are continuously investigating ways in which to offer our customers tailored, convenient, smart services that afford them the greatest luxury of all: time. Our Connected Car strategy will continue to expand and innovate in order to further enhance the Bentley lifestyle.”
