Limited edition supercars in their most basic form, such as the Porsche Carrera GT, don’t tend to shred their tires for the amusement of the crowd – at least most of the times.

However, this is the Italian way of having fun with the powerful machine at a Cars&Coffee gathering and with a former rally driver behind the wheel, as the uploader of the short video states, the Porsche Carrera GT slides on the tarmac in the most elegant way possible.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated, mid-mounted V10 engine, which pushes 558 horsepower and 442 pound-feet (600 Nm) of torque to the rear wheels through an old-school six-speed manual transmission. Unleash it onto a straight and it will need less than four seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph), and give it enough room and the needle will eventually point to over 330 km/h (205 mph).

The latest footage of the Carrera GT being put through its paces for a couple of precious minutes comes just a couple of weeks after we’ve witnessed two modern reviews of the supercar produced between 2003 and 2007, both of which have massively praised it.
