While some car enthusiasts would have to sell an arm and a leg to be able to truly afford an Aston Martin, others are luckier, but even if one could pay the sticker price for a V8 Vantage, is it really worth it?

This is a question anyone who is proud of his/hers petrol head ID would answer with his/her heart, rather than balance everything that can go wrong, but still, how deep would you have to dig in your pockets?

Well, according to this Doug DeMuro, be ready to lose a significant amount over depreciation, which is really the worst enemy a sports car can have. Maintenance is major concern as well, and he is advising to always go for the bumper-to-bumper warranty before signing the papers, as this could make a difference between a normal ownership experience and a ruined one.

DeMuro’s had some pretty sweet rides in his garage, including a Nissan Skyline GT-R and a Ferrari 360 Modena, to name a few, so we guess he knows what he’s talking about, right?
