As of last week, BMW has an entirely new model in its lineup: the 8-Series Coupe.

Said to fill the niche between the more luxurious Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and sportier Porsche 911, according to the Munich-based car firm, it replaces the  6-Series Coupe and promises unprecedented levels of comfort and handling.

But since we already covered these aspects when the vehicle came out, we’re going to bring your attention now on a slew of renderings that came out almost immediately after its presentation. Two of them preview upcoming body styles, such as the 8-Series Gran Coupe and 8-Series Convertible, while the others don’t make much sense, other than starting online debates.

As it happens most of the time when new cars are released, the BMW 8-Series Coupe was imagined as a pickup truck. Aksyonov Nikita’s digital interpretation keeps things simple, whereas X-Tomi complicates them a bit by modifying the design behind the B pillars and mentioning the El Camino name, for obvious reasons.

Two other renderings show the latest Bavarian flagship model in GTS and Most Wanted Edition guises. The former is inspired by the M4 GTS, whereas the other remembers the E46 from the famous NFS video game.

Finally, we get to see what the BMW 8-Series Coupe would look like in base form, with plastic bumpers, side mirror casings and door handles, and sitting on steel rims, and as a stylish 3-door Shooting Brake, which has something very Volvo-ish in its design.

So, after covering the new attires of the car, which one would you like to see in production, along with the current Coupe and upcoming Cabriolet and Gran Coupe, and why? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
