Genesis announced a series of small changes for the 2019 G80, which include the introduction of a new Sport Package for the 3.8-liter version as well as an upgraded infotainment system.

The new 2019 Genesis G80 3.8 Sport Package is now sharing some of the design cues of the 3.3T model, including copper accents on the center wheel cap surrounds, more aggressive front and rear bumpers and side sills, dark chrome detailing on the grille and window trim, as well as dual exhaust tips.

The exterior revisions are completed by a set of 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-season tires.

The interior of the 2019 Genesis G80 3.8 Sport Package gets a set of sport pedals and a sport steering wheel. The highlight however is the upgraded 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto offered across the range. Genesis also offers a bigger, 9.2-inch system as an option.

The 2019 Genesis G80 range continues to offer three engine options: the base 3.8-liter V6, the twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 and the range-topping 5.0-liter V8. The new 3.8-liter Sport Package is offered with rear- and all-wheel drive, and all models come fitted with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

As you would expect from an executive sedan in this class, the list of safety systems is quite long, with the 2019 G80 offering the following as standard: Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop/Start and more.

Pricing for the 2019 Genesis G80 in the base 3.8L version starts from $42,050 (excluding destination charges).
