Car companies all seem to be pushing the limits of comfort and luxury in almost every segment. Passengers in the third row of three-row vehicles might feel overlooked though. Which automaker sells the best third row in the business right now?

Three-row vehicles have been around for ages but the story is often the same. Those in the way back get the worst experience of the bunch. Take a look at our lead image again. The third row in the Chevrolet Traverse features a stiff bench with flat padding and a roofline that’s dipping harder than Twitter/X stock would be if it was still public.

Which Car Has The Best Third Row On The Market?

We’re not talking about the gigantic Grand Wagoneer and yet, the third row might be the outright winner here. The seats are comfortable enough for folks who are six-foot-six thanks to excellent headroom, legroom, and hip room.

In addition, the seats are luxuriously appointed with diamond stitching and come complete with two USB charge points on each side of the cabin. The Grand Wagoneer boasts a power-reclining third row with dual power ports though I found it to have less headroom than the Grand Cherokee L.

Searching through other high-end luxury three-row vehicles has me wondering if anything can beat these two Stellantis products. A few brands like BMW and Lincoln offer great-looking third-row seating in cars like the X7 and the Navigator so maybe they’re contenders.

The Navigator appears to offer the most third-row legroom with just under 41 inches but keep in mind that this is more than a competition about space. The best third row needs to incorporate space along with comfort and technology.

For example, the third row in the VW Atlas is decent enough but only has power ports on one side. Kids won’t ever argue about who gets to use that, right? Let us know which third row is the best in the business and why down below!
