After learning on Monday that Tesla is going to unveil a facelift for its Model S as early as today, a picture allegedly showing the updated model appeared online.

The image sent to Electrec from one of its readers is said to have been taken at an undisclosed Tesla dealership, as the Californian carmaker is “currently updating the Model S advertising at its retail locations”.

As seen here from this distorted angle, the biggest change is on the snout that adopts the same grille-less design as the new Model 3, together with a reworked front bumper.

A previous report citing a Tesla insider said that the 2017 Model S will also gain LED lights and a fresh assortment of colors on the outside, while inside, the car will receive extra storage compartments, the same seats as the Model X with the option of ventilation, and other additional luxury appointments.

We’ll give you an update as soon as we find out more.
