LaFerrari 0-214 MPH Acceleration Is Absolutely Savage

| |

Powered by a 963 PS (950 bhp) V12 and weighing only 1,255 Kg (2,767 lbs), the LaFerrari is one of the fastest road-going production vehicles the planet has ever seen. But to get an idea just how blistering quick it is, you only need to spare 0.44 seconds of your time.

That’s how long it takes the supercar – in this particular video, at least – to get from 0 to 344 Km/h (214 mph) and then to around 69 Km/h (43 mph). In fact, the very exclusive, limited-edition “Prancing Horse” only needs about 36 seconds to complete the deed, although it was 5 Km/h (3 mph) shy of its 349 Km/h (217 mph) top speed.

Not at all surprisingly, considering it wasn’t under tests conditions, the supercar respects the official figures offered by Ferrari, reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in about 3 seconds and 200 km/h (124 mph) in just over 7. But if these number don’t do anything to you, just look at the driver’s neck while he’s fighting to overcome the full G of force caused by the raw, visceral, aggressive acceleration.

Any faster and it will require a parachute to stop.
