After seeing the new RS3 Sedan in the most revealing spy photos yet, we now have the footage to go with it.

With the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 in mind as its main rival, and a possible BMW M2 Gran Coupe around the corner, the punchy four-door was unleashed on the Nurburgring for a few fast laps, which probably led to some more fine-tuning.

Τhe RS3 Sedan will be powered by the engine of the latest TT RS, with the 2.5-liter turbo five sending 400 PS (395 HP) and 480 Nm (354 pound-feet) of torque to all four corners through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in around 4 seconds.

An aggressive body kit, comprising of new bumpers on both ends, different side sills, a small boot-mounted spoiler and large dual-exhaust pipes, complemented by bigger wheels and joined by improved brakes and tweaked suspension, will provide the necessary attitude.
