Amazon’s Grand Tour series of short and amusing videos continues with James May taking center stage, with a rather peculiar confession.

Captain Slow explains how he once climbed inside a racer, strapped himself in, pushed the ignition button, shifted into first gear and just as he was ready to drive away, he realized that he forgot to attach the steering wheel – classic James.

May’s story comes a couple of weeks after Jezza explained to the world how he narrowly escaped from riding shotgun in a rally car with a huge hangover, so naturally, we expect Richard Hammond’s turn to share an embarrassing situation, in front of the camera, all part of promoting their new car show: The Grand Tour.

Speaking of which, you might have noticed the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider in the background, which isn’t exactly brand new, but it’s still hot enough to be featured in one of the 12 episodes of the Grand Tour’s first series, which will air on Amazon starting this fall.
