After winning both the 2014 and 2015 editions, Renault has announced its presence for this year’s E-Rallye as well, with no less than four examples of the Zoe.

The zero-emission vehicles will be taken from Fontainebleau, 70 km (44 miles) south of Paris, to Monaco, are equipped with the new Z.E. 40 battery, which increases their driving range for up to 250 miles (402 km), making it “the ideal companion for weekends away, holidays and discovering new horizons”, as the French say.

This year’s calendar includes 220 miles (354 km) of competitive action, including a visit to the Col de Turini, a high mountain pass in the Alps, a famous stage of the Monte Carlo Rally with its many hairpin turns, and home to a spectacular landscape that sits 1,607 meters (5,272 feet) above from the sea level.

In order to make things even more interesting, Renault has teamed up with famous Slovak model and actress Adriana Karambeu, who will be in charge of driving one of the Zoe electric vehicles during the entire event, which started on October 12 and will end on the 16th.
