It was a tough weekend for FC Barcelona’s striker, Neymar, as he crashed his Ferrari 458 Spider just before his team played against Real Sociedad (1-1).

The 24-year old Brazilian soccer player apparently lost control of the wheel on a slippery exit ramp, as FoxNews writes, spinning 180 degrees. Luckily, he escaped with no injuries, but the naturally aspired V8-powered machine suffered some minor damage.

His teammate, Leo Messi, was the one to announce the accident on Twitter, this Sunday, coming back on the subject later on with more details and a short footage of the aftermath, originally posted by FCBarcelonaWorld: “Neymar had a minor accident this morning while driving to training center. Thankfully he’s safe and will play tonight“, the Argentinean wrote.

Neymar bought the Ferrari 458 Spider last year, posing with it on his Instagram page, and thanking God for giving him the health and means to fulfill one of his dreams – owning a supercar made by the Prancing Horse.

Since the Brazilian earns approximately $16 million annually, following his new 5-year contract with the Spanish club, he should be able to buy quite a few exotic machines, including the newer 488 Spider, which serves as a replacement for the 458.

Obrigado Deus por me dar saúde e com o fruto do meu trabalho poder realizar mais um sonho de criança !! ??
