What’s a sure-fire way to make an already epic drag racing burnout even more incredible? By setting the tires alight of course.
That’s exactly what Dave Nelson recently did in a short clip selected as a finalist for the GoPro Awards and the resulting clip is assured to be the craziest thing you’ll see all day.
Before the fiery burnout begins, fuel is thrown over the tires and the track and then a crew member lights the fuel on fire and before long, the inferno engulfs the wheels. Cue the burnout and you have the perfect recipe for internet gold.
Obviously, this isn’t something you should try out at home but it’s certainly an intriguing way of warming up the tires!
