The 911 R is living proof that Porsches don’t have to be a few decades old in order to fetch crazy money on the used car market.

Over the years, we have seen a few examples listed for more than $1 million, though it’s hard to justify paying multiple times the original asking price (MSRP $185,950) on a machine, no matter how impressive it may be.

The ‘R’ badge adorns the body of the 991.1 generation 911 with stripes and parts made from magnesium and carbon fiber. It carries a 4.0-liter flat-six naturally aspirated engine, mated to a 6-speed stick shift, that makes 500PS (493hp) and 460Nm (339lb-ft) of torque, helping it reach 100km/h (62mph) in 3.8sec from standstill, before topping out at 323km/h (201mph).

Only 991 units of the 911 R were made and one of them, No428, is now listed for sale in Florida by LamborghiniPalmBeach. It’s said to have only 121 miles (195km) on the clock. The only thing missing from the equation is the price, which begs the question, how much would you be willing to pay for it?
